This is an initial product draft written in plain English. It is being reviewed before Snipfruit leaves free beta, and it is not yet legal advice or a final agreement.
Who we are
Snipfruit provides a service that helps individuals understand and improve their digital identity security. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect and why
- Account data (first name, email address) — to create and secure your account.
- Assessment answers (multiple choice) — to calculate your Digital Identity Score.
- Scores and history — so you can track progress over time.
- Action plan records — so your recommendations and progress persist.
- Communication preferences — so we contact you only as you have chosen.
Legal basis
We process account and assessment data to provide the service you asked for. We process marketing communications only where you have given permission, which you can withdraw at any time in your account.
Retention
We keep your records while your account is open. When you delete your account, your records are deleted with it. Assessment history is retained until then so that progress tracking works.
Your rights
- Access and export the data we hold about you, from the Privacy Centre.
- Correct your first name and communication preferences.
- Delete your account and associated records.
- Object to marketing communications at any time.
